Lemonade in the Shade

Farewell to Bob & Beth Ewing
Bob & Beth Ewing from the Church of the Epiphany are relocating out of town. At 11:00a today, Sunday, July 12, their church will be holding a Coffee Hour, and would like to extend an invitation to all of you to please stop by and share a cup of coffee and tell them goodbye.
Book Study
Our book study class will meet this Thursday, July 9, at 10a in the church Fellowship Hall. Feel free to join us at any time. No need to have attended past lessons. Our current book is “Real Followers” Let Pastor Lauren know if you would like to join the group and become a part of the discussion. Books are $7.00.

Bingo
Come out this Friday, July 17, from 5:00–8:00p for an evening of bingo, hotdogs, and fun
at the Church of the Epiphany at 538 Henry Street. Enjoy a FREE meal, exciting bingo games, raffle baskets, and lots of prizes! Bring your friends, family, and neighbors for a fun community night filled with laughter and connection. Everyone is welcome. We can’t wait to see you there! There is a $3.00 entry fee to play for the evening. All ages are welcome
Flamingo Flocking is Back!
The flock will be landing this July! So pick up a form and envelope at the church entrances, or the church office and send a flock to your neighbors, friends, and family (not just fellow LUMC members!) It’s all in good fun, and will support a costume closet for children who need one for Halloween.
Yard Sale
We will be holding a yard sale from July 31 - August 1. Be on the lookout for any items that you no longer need and bring them to the church. We are storing them on the stage in the Fellowship Hall.
Children’s Sunday School
We are taking a break for the summer. See you in the fall!
2026 Flower Chart
THANK YOU TO EVERYONE WHO SIGNED UP TO PROVIDE ALTAR FLOWERS!. We still have lots of openings for July, as well as other dates throughout the year. The 2026 Flower Chart is posted on the church office door. You may sign up for flowers to recognize special events or people in your lives, or in memory of loved ones. The total cost of both arrangements on the altar Sunday mornings is $107.00. You may make your check out the church with “Altar Flowers” in your check memo line. The church pays the florist each month.
CCM Needs
Special requests from CCM are: Pop Tarts, Spaghetti, Spaghetti Sauce, Pork N Beans, Large Canned Fruit. Donations may be left in the basket by the church office

Church office hours are Monday through Friday, 8:30a-12:30p.
For your safety, our church entrance doors will be locked at 10:15 a.m. on Sunday mornings.
